Dr Mark Levinsky has a background in surgery, ER, and medical education. He has been an instructor and Training Center Faculty with the AHA; and has served as ACLS medical director for over 20 years years. He also organized the initial PALS Instructor training program at Johns Hopkins/All Children’s Hospital, and has provided individual tutoring in ACLS science, pharmacology, and EKG interpretation. Dr L. has designed Instructor Training classes in BLS, ACLS, and PALS in accordance with AHA guidelines which have been used by Faculty/instructors to help new Instructor candidates understand the AHA policies and requirements in the PAM (program admin. manual).
